I am wanting to work with colored jump rings, making bracelets and earrings. Since I've never bought this before, I hoped some of you might recommend sites with the best prices.  I don't know what a "good price" is, but thought experience here would be able to guide me in the right direction.

Thanks,

Teri

Hiya Teri,
I like The Ring Lord for rings. The only two things with them, you do better buying in bulk and shipping is a bit expensive, but offset by buying in bulk and the second is shipping time to me is a bit long but not terrible.

Thanks Lois....I have found their site and looked around. I'll compare that to the company Valorie mentioned!!

Thanks for the referral Valerie. I've not heard of them and will definitely check their store out.

I've only ever bought premade colored jump rings from UnkamenSupplies on Etsy. They have a nice range and the prices are reasonable. They also custom make colors and sizes.
I have bought anodized aluminum jump rings from firemountaingems.com, happy with the heavier guage rings but not not silver ones. Also there is a site http://www.metalliferous.com/ that you can buy colored aluminum sheet which is fun for pendants, they carry a complete supply of colored wire. I only use the color silver plated wire as i find that you can hammer this if using a thicker guage in your design. Hope this gives you another option.
Not sure if the price compares well with the other sources, but try Blue Buddha Boutique, http://www.bluebuddhaboutique.com/

Note that their wire gauges in base metals are SWG and not AWG, best to check the exact measurements. For example, 18g ALUM = 1.15 mm (0.045").

Depending on how many you need, I would try Blue Buddha. Ship time from them is good and the consistency of the gauge and ring ID is also really good. They also have a different process they are using now for anodizing that gives really good, shiny color to their rings.

If you need lots, then I would go with The Ring Lord. Their prices are good but shipping can be an abomination. It takes 2 - 4 weeks for it to clear customs for me here in PA, though that is less than it has taken in the past. Their colors are good and they are starting to carry the super shiny ones also. Their gauges are sometimes a little bit off but if you are not working with tight tolerances then it will not be an issue at all.

Depending on what sizes you need, if you are only looking for the rings for one project, I can supply some AA also. I don't keep alot of these in stock though so that might not help much.

Hope you find what you need. All Blessings,
Candy
Check out www.JumpRingLady.com.  She has the best prices and 39 colors. and she ships in 2 days or less. She's in the U.S.  And i've never had a problem with the wire guages being off.  The website you land on is http://www.gossamerwingsdesigns.com/Jump-Rings-Chain-Maille.htm. but jumpringlady.com is the shortcut.
