I bought some Hemimorphite drops a while ago and up until now I only made a pair of earrings with them.
This time I made a wire wrapped pendant. For now on a suede cord until I find some stones of the same color.
The metals I used are gunmetal artistic wire because that color is gorgeous with the soft green of the hemimorphite.

I have been dying to try herringbone wrap around more than one bead. I finally had time and made these hoops. I described how I made them in my blog post.

When I retired in Mexico 8 years ago, I bought a torch and a lot of tools to start my hobby of metalworking. Well, I hated the oxy/acetylene torch because a local jeweler had a leak in his and it blew up, burning down his studio and putting him in the hospital. And, I just cannot learn from a book and couldn't find lessons in Mexico. So, when I left Mexico a year ago and moved to Arizona, I left my torch there. I never wanted to see it again.
For the past year, I have been able to take some lessons, buy a new torch, and start making the jewelry I love, which is mainly Copper and Brass. I recently took a class in etching copper. I have etched quite a lot of copper and have had strange results. My pieces don't look like the ones in the class I took.
